Amanda Bearden

Amanda Bearden has over 15 years of coaching experience and has served as the Assistant Director of Texas United Volleyball for the past seven years. She is passionate about developing athletes both on and off the court while helping create a positive, competitive environment for players of all ages.

A Pearland High School graduate, Amanda was a four-year varsity starter before continuing her playing career at the University of Texas at Arlington. During her collegiate career, she was named Freshman Athlete of the Year, earned All-Conference honors three times as an outside hitter, and became just the seventh player in program history to record both 1,000 career kills and 1,000 career digs.

Amanda enjoys sharing her passion for the game and helping athletes grow in their skills, confidence, and love for volleyball. She lives in Pearland with her husband, Preston, and their two children, Brooks and Isabella. Outside of the gym, she enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending time with her family.
