bio
Hello, my name is Desirae Dinsdale, I am going into my 2nd year with Texas United, and my 5th season coaching club volleyball.
I am very passionate in working with developing athletes. I pride myself on being a transparent and relational coach and dedicated to helping each athlete reach their full potential through skills development and teamwork.
I have coached a variety of ages, but generally 13-15’s through our Mini Club and Advanced/Intermediate programs here at Texas United.
I have 6+ years of playing experience in multiple positions but received college offers as a multi-sport athlete for volleyball as a DS/libero and fast-pitch softball.
Since transitioning into coaching, I have truly taken the time to learn how to mentor athletes to become mentally and physically effective on the court in every position.
Aside from coaching, I am a proud mother of two. I have a 10-year-old son who plays competitive football, basketball, and baseball.
I also have an 18-year-old daughter entering her freshman year of college on a volleyball scholarship to Western Texas College.
She played for Texas United from 16-18’s, so I truly believe in this program and the opportunities it created for my family.
I come from a very sports-oriented family. So, I am familiar with the level of commitment it takes for your athlete to succeed as it did mine.
I am available for private lessons Weds-Fridays after 4pm, and some weekends.
